It is created when you first save a new project by selecting File → Save or Save As.... You can open a TSCPROJ file in Camtasia by selecting File → Open Project. A TSCPROJ file is only meant to be opened in Camtasia. However, you can manually open the file with a text editor since it is saved in plain text. However, if you modify the TSCPROJ file you may cause the project file to be corrupt or alter the project. NOTE: The TSCPROJ file was introduced with version 9 of TechSmith Camtasia. It replaced the .CAMPROJ file type used by the Windows versions of Camtasia.
