SNAGPROJ files consisting of an image can be saved as a .PNG, .JPG, .TIFF, .GIF, or .BMP by going to File → Save As... in the application menu and selecting the desired format in the Format drop down. TechSmith develops Snagit, a program that records images or video on the user's screen. This software is often used in relation to technical help. Videos or images captured by Snagit can easily be shared to YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. NOTE: SNAGPROJ is the Snagit project file used by Mac systems while .SNAG is used by Windows systems.
