The pVHD format is efficient for handling data de-duplication, incremental chains, and data synchronization. It can be used to restore individual files, hard drives, and selected partitions from a pVHD image. You can create a PVHD file by selecting the "Backup to Virtual Disk" or "Incremental Backup to Virtual Disk" options. NOTE: While the program still supports the old .PBF format, the pVHD format is intended to replace it.
