A TSCPROJ file is a project file created by TechSmith Camtasia, a screen recording and video editing application. It contains the locations of all the recordings (.CMREC, .CAMREC, or .TREC files) and media files included in the project along with all the edits and effects applied to the project. TSCPROJ files are often used for creating software video tutorials and other demonstrations.

TSCPROJ file open in TechSmith Camtasia 2018 The TSCPROJ project file is the primary file type associated with Camtasia. It is created when you first save a new project by selecting File → Save or Save As.... You can open a TSCPROJ file in Camtasia by selecting File → Open Project. A TSCPROJ file is only meant to be opened in Camtasia. However, you can manually open the file with a text editor since it is saved in plain text. However, if you modify the TSCPROJ file you may cause the project file to be corrupt or alter the project. NOTE: The TSCPROJ file was introduced with version 9 of TechSmith Camtasia. It replaced the .CAMPROJ file type used by the Windows versions of Camtasia.
