Finale Backup File

File created by Finale, a music notation program for instruments, vocals, and more; contains backup data for .MUSX files; updated 2014 version of the Finale .BAK file used in previous releases.
instruction:
To create a BAKX file:
You must first enable the backup creation option.
Select Finale [version] → Preferences....
Select "Save and Print" in the list on the left of the "Preferences" window, check the "Make Backups When Saving Files" checkbox, and click OK.
Now when you save your MUSX file, a BAKX file will be created.
