Canfield Image File

Classification:raster image file
A T2K file is an image saved in the Canfield Image format, which is used to store images of patients for medical imaging purposes. It contains image data captured by a Canfield Scientific device, such as a TwinFlash RL Clinical Camera or IntelliStudio photography system. T2K image files can be opened with Canfield Scientific Mirror medical imaging software.

instruction:

You will most likely only encounter a T2K image file if you are a medical professional in the plastic surgery field. The images are typically created in the consultation phase of a visit with a plastic surgeon using a Canfield Scientific device. Then, the professional transfers the files to a computer running Windows and imports them into Mirror software to be analyzed and displayed for the patient to see. The images are used to consult patients for a variety of procedures, such as facelifts, necklifts, rhinoplasty, and liposuction. A T2K file may be accidentally shared with a patient who does not have access to Mirror software. Unfortunately, there is no program besides Mirror software that supports the encrypted T2K image format. The patient would have to contact the medical professional and have him export the image in Mirror in JPEG format, which is supported by many image viewers.
