A P4D file is a project created by Pix4Dmapper Pro, a photogammetry program used to convert images into 2D maps and 3D models. It contains images, coordinate systems, processing options, ground control points (GCPs), and other project information. P4D files are stored in XML format.

P4D files are created by the Pix4Dmapper program, which is part of the Pix4D suite. To create a P4D project, select New Project... then click Save Project or Save Project As.... To open a P4D project, select Open Project.... Pix4Dmapper allows you to process, analyze, and share images captured by a drone or other camera. The program uses images to generate digital surface, point clouds, texture models, terrain models, and textured models.
