MAFF files are used for browsing saved Web pages offline. Since the format supports multiple browser tabs, users can also navigate between saved tabs offline.
MAFF files require the Mozilla plug-in called MAF (downloaded as an .XPI file). Once this plug-in is installed, you can save MAFF archives in Firefox by selecting File → Save Tabs As... or File → Save All Tabs As....
