An LQM file is a note created by QuickMemo, an app included on select LG smartphones such as G3 and G4. It contains a note exported from the app, which includes one or more images and annotations applied to the image. LQM files are compressed with Zip compression.

The QuickMemo app allows you to take a screenshot of your phone screen or import an image and add notes, drawings, or memos to the image. When you are finished marking up the image you can save it in the LQM format. This is a convenient feature, however, the LQM file is not widely supported. You can choose to export the note as a .JPG image or .PDF file, which are more widely supported. If you receive an LQM file and don't have an LG phone or other software to open the file you can use a Zip utility, such as 7zip or WinZip, to extract the contents of the file since it is Zip-compressed. Among the contents there is a memoinfo.jlqm file, which contains the text of the note. NOTE: QuickMemo comes installed on select LG phones, it is not available for download.
