Project file created by Greenfoot, a Java development environment; holds Greenfoot properties specific to a certain project; examples of property types contained in the file include class, target destination, and dependency.

To create a GREENFOOT file: Open the Greenfoot application, select Scenario → New... or select Scenario → Open... in the menu bar and select your scenario. If you selected New..., name your file, choose the save location, and click Create. If you selected Open..., after the scenario window opens, select Scenario → Save As... or Save, name the file, choose your save location, and click Save. The GREENFOOT file will be named project.greenfoot and is found in the folder you named when you saved the scenario.
