Database file created by dBASE II, an older version of dBASE database application development software; similar to dBASE 1 databases, but may support additional data types; not commonly used, since recent versions of dBASE use the .DBF format.

instruction:

NOTE: DB2 files created by dBASE shouldn't be confused with IBM DB2 database software.

Samsung CCTV Video Information File

Classification:video file
Video information file generated by a Samsung CCTV recording system; contains information about a corresponding .BU video file.

instruction:

DB2 files are saved with BU files in the same directory and have the same filename, expect for the extension. For example, a video recording may generate the files 12300000.bu and 12300000.db2. These files should not be separated since they are both read by Samsung video recording software.
