A CT file is a data file created by Cheat Engine, an open source program used to create "cheats," or modifications, to Windows-based games. It contains game overrides and their address locations within the target program. CT files allow users to edit game properties, such as numbers of lives, high scores, and units of health.
instruction:
To open a CT file in Cheat Engine, select File → Load, choose the CT file, and click Open. You can also click the "Open Folder" icon from the interface or simply double-click the CT file if Cheat Engine is installed on your computer and associated with the CT file.
NOTE: CT files are inserted during the execution of a running program and may cause a program to crash.
