Archiver Split File

Classification:Other files
A SPLIT file is a split archive created by Archiver, a utility that helps users create archives, compress files, and extract archives. It contains a file that has been split into "chunks" of user-specified size in order to reduce the file size.

instruction:

To create a SPLIT file, drag and drop your file into the application. You can also select File → Open..., navigate to your file, and click Open. After you open your file, select "Split," and choose the format of the file (if you are splitting a .PNG file, choose "PNG") without any compression. Specify the chunk size you want the file split in to (KB, MB, or GB) and click "Finish." To open (combine) a SPLIT file, double-click the file and select "Combine." From here, you can open or export your file. NOTE: The SPLIT file appears as a compound extension. For example, if you split a PNG file into 3 SPLIT files, the files appear as example.png.a.split, example.png.b.split, and example.png.c.split.
