SketchUp Materials File

Textures file used by SketchUp, a drawing program developed by Google; saved in a compressed .ZIP format and contains XML texture property files, a thumbnail .PNG image, and a .JPG texture image; stores 2D graphics that can be layered on 3D models.

SKM files can be used interchangeably on Windows and Mac OS X. They are stored in the following directories:
Mac OS X: [user]/Library/Application Support/SketchUp/
Windows: C:Program FilesGoogleGoogle SketchUpMaterials
NOTE: The materials in SKM files are accessible from the Materials pane in the software.
