Financial data file created by Savings Bond Wizard, a program used to manage United States savings bonds; contains a collection of financial records, each of which include the purchase date, denomination, interest, serial number, yield, and projected values; used for tracking and calculating personal investments.

The US Treasury also provides an online Savings Bond Calculator application, which runs in a Web browser and is used for downloading savings bond information in a .HTM format. When downloaded, users can import the HTM data into an existing SBW file. Users can also import data from .CSV files. NOTE: US Treasury Savings Bond Wizard is discontinued and no longer available.
