Project created by LMMS (Linux MultiMedia Studio), a music creation program; contains LMMS project data such as track edits, tempo, pitch, volume, and included instrument types; can be exported as .WAV and .OGG audio files.

To create the MMP file, click the save icon in the top-left of the application or select Project → Save or Save As..., name your project, choose the save location, and click Save. To open the MMP file, you can simply double-click the file. You can also open the project inside of the application, select Project → Open..., navigate to your file, select it, and click Open. NOTE: LMMS replaced the MMP file extension with the .MMPZ extension.
