An MMMP file contains a "Map Part" created by Mindjet MindManager, a visual diagramming application used to organize ideas, plans, and projects. It stores part of a map, or diagram, that can be re-used in other maps. MMMP files are similar to .MMAT template files but store one component of a map instead of the whole map.

These maps are typically saved as .MMAP files in MindManager. MindManager map parts are topic or subtopic components that are re-used in different maps. Since the map parts are used in different types of maps they typically store generic information, such as units of time (days or months) or basic meeting agenda items. To create an MMMP file to store a map part, select File → Save As.... choose "MindManager Map Part" from the dropdown menu, name the file, choose the save location, and click Save. To open an MMMP file and import a map part into a map, select File → Import... and choose the MMMP file. NOTE: MindManager maps are used for various purposes, such as planning strategic goals, tracking the progress of projects, recording meeting notes, and laying out business workflows.
