A DRP file is a project exported by Blackmagic Design DaVinci Resolve, a video editor and color correction program. It contains an editing timeline, which may include a sequence of multimedia elements, such as video and audio, and other project properties. DRP files do not store actual video and audio, only references to the video and audio files.

DaVinci Resolve does not save a project in a single file, by default. Instead it saves the media files and configuration files that make up a project in the DaVinci Resolve installation directory. But you can export a project to a DRP file to back up the project or share it with another DaVinci Resolve user. You can open a DRP file by selecting File → Import Project... or right-clicking in the program and selecting Import.... If you edit the project and want to save the modifications, you need to export the project to a DRP file again. You can do this by selecting File → Export Project... or right-clicking in the program and selecting Export....
